The Shaolin Showdown is only two weeks away. For the tournament to be a success, we need you.
If you are a student, think of your best form and plan to compete. You can compete in an open hand form, weapons form, sparring, or any combination. Competing is a good advertisement for our school. It shows what we’ve been learning. It supports our school. Ask Sifu what your best area is, and keep practicing!!
If you are a parent, we can use your help as well. The competitors will be using different rings. Each ring requires two people to sit at a table and watch. Their job is to record the judges scores (Scorekeeper). Each sparring ring requires a scorekeeper and a timekeeper. The timekeeper watches the time for each round. These jobs are required for every official tournament. Please consider your schedule for May 16 and help us out by volunteering for the full day or half the day.
